Ghosts of Vermont September's Past (A precautionary tale)

I don’t ever remember it being this humid, hot and tornado-y before in Florida. I recall thinking to myself at least a dozen times this past summer. As I write this in early September of 2024. I reflect on how next month will mark 3 years ago that I moved from Vermont to Florida. I suspect everyone has felt this in the same way shape or form in their life before but when I say I have experienced what feels like 30 years of exponential growth in just 3 years would be the biggest understatement of the year. I think I might be one of those people who live their lives in cliches. Some that come to mind, “The grass is greener on the other side” “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man” (or in my case woman) ,”wherever you go there you are” Oh ah yes and my most favorite. “You don’t know what you got till it’s gone” I will thank the great Joni Mitchell for this one. The December Beauty Heroes  Discovery box, I am over the moon about!🌙 It contains the AKWI Purifying Cleanser by MUN  Skin Care (pronounced "moon"). A Tribute to Practical Magic Movie

In recognition to it being Halloween, I thought I should have some kind of relatable mention to it on my blog. Seeing as I won’t have any awesome Halloween costume pictures to share with you all; Since I’m not going to be dressing up or going to any costume parties(Yes I’ll take the “L”). But, I will be sitting at home sipping on homemade margaritas and eating homemade tacos watching some of my favorite movies!... A homebody dream right?!  I have been loving my  Beauty Heroes boxes I have been receiving as of late. Sometimes I almost think they can read my mind on what particular products I want.  The October Box is a prime example of that! They provided subscribers two wonderful little gems from a brand called Bottega Organica . A carefully crafted farm to skincare brand. Favorite Christmas Tree Farm and No Snow Yet.

I can't believe the last time I posted on my blog was around Halloween! Where did November and half of December go???? Another thing I can't believe is...and brace yourself for this...  there has not been one drop of snow here in Southern Vermont yet. And I'm sooooo happy about that! Because I know once it snows it won't stop till Spring lol. But back to the no posting thing right? Well...It seems so much has happened but at the same time not much at all heh. Therefore, I won't bore you with the small details of my life; like my birthday, which has brought me to the real dark side of my thirties...sigh such is life.
